All you need to know about the hike:
This year's hike is open to anyone! Unlike past years, the group will not be racing to finish the hike in seven hours, but will be taking it easy and celebrating along the way. Keep in mind that this is a 26.37 mile hike through strenuous, but manageable terrain. If you're unsure about signing up, reach out to a past SLISHer to hear about their experience. This hike is a great opportunity to make new connections; encouragement flows freely and everyone works together to make it to the finish. We're excited to welcome all new hikers for our last, celebratory hike!
There will be two spots along the hike where search and rescue vehicles and volunteers will be set up to offer snacks, drinks, games, morale boosts and the option to end your hike if you decide you cannot continue.
We are asking for a minimum donation of $75 from each hiker to cover shirt and after party costs and to go towards a fund for the Cardiac Care Center to sustain it for years to come. Details about your hiker donation and sign up forms can be found below.
The hike will take place on September 9th and follow this schedule:

Only want to do a portion of the hike?
For just a $25 donation SLISHers can join us for the beginning of the hike! We call this the Celebration Squad. The donation includes a SLISH shirt, entrance to the after party, and a hike to two of the seven lakes.
If you want to be a part of the excitement but aren't sure you can last 26 miles, this option allows you to hike to Lily and Lizard lakes with the whole group and then follow a leader back to the starting point instead of venturing on to the next five lakes. The Celebration Squad will follow the same timeline listed above, but turn around at the second lake. We estimate that this option will have Celebration Squad hikers back to the starting point around noon.
To sign up for this shortened hike follow the same process listed below and then add 'partial hike' on your waiver form.
